Mineral resources are one of the important natural resources. It is the hidden natural resources which directly connect on money worth. It can be found on the underground part of the earth, basically. Gold, silver, petrol, copper etc are some example of mineral resources. It is said that Nepal possess large amount of mineral resources. The countries having glad and petroleum mines have been able to earn large amount of foreign currency. But in Nepal it has not been utilized for the benefit of the country because of poor technology and economical problem. Mineral resources of Nepal has been explained only few amount. It is estimated that the mineral resources contribute only about 0.65% to GDP. It is one of The main resource of government earning. Specially, Nepal has great prospect of iron mines. The mine pulchoki is regarded as the biggest iron mine of Nepal. In the river of Nepal there is possibility of gold mines. It can be the source of income for development of countries. It is also the source for employment. The cement, magnetite lead, agricultural-lime and marble industries are the main mineral-based industries currently in operation were expected for job which solve the big present problem of the country is unemployment.
